I respect your privacy. It is my policy not to share or sell any information you provide me.

Analytics

This site uses Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Fathom does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. It complies with GDPR, ePrivacy, PECR, CCPA, and COPPA.

Forms

This site has three forms: the contact form, the consulting intake form at /work-with-me/, and the workshop inquiry form at /workshops/. Submissions are received through Netlify Forms, stored in Airtable so I can follow up, and trigger a confirmation email to you and a notification email to me, both sent through Resend. I don't sell, trade, or share your submission with any third parties beyond those processors.

If you subscribe to my newsletter, your email address is collected through the subscription form and processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). I use your email solely to send periodic updates about accessibility, inclusion, AI, and my work.

I do not share, sell, or otherwise distribute your information to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

Email link activity

When you click a link in one of my emails that leads to a welcome page (any page under /welcome/) or any waitlist page on this site, I record that click on my own server: the page, the time, your subscriber id, browser information, an anonymized (hashed and truncated) IP address, and approximate region. Nothing is recorded on any other page of this site, and the raw IP address is never stored.

I use this for one purpose. Corporate email systems "click" every link in an email automatically to scan for threats, which corrupts the preferences you've actually chosen. This log lets me tell your real clicks from a machine's, so your choices stay yours.

Records are kept for at most 90 days. A machine's automatic click arrives within seconds of an email being delivered, but your real click might come days later — so the log has to outlast the scan for your choice to win. Records are processed by Netlify, and are never shared or sold. If you'd like your click records deleted sooner, email me and I'll remove them.

Server request logs

Requests for this site's llms.txt file are logged the same way (time, browser information, anonymized IP) to understand how automated agents read it. No raw IP addresses are stored there either.
